I injected a few bubbles of air, will I be okay?

Yes, you’ll be okay and there’s no need to worry. There’s multiple reasons why.

  1. You’re injecting into the muscle or dermis, only a concern when injecting into the vein/artery
  2. Requires several milliliters of injected air to cause adverse effects
  3. Usually, leftover air gets caught into the deadspace anyways

Starters, having some air in the syringe is normal. It happens all the time when nurses inject vaccines or drugs at clinical offices. Only when you inject significant amounts is when it becomes an issue. A few bubbles aren’t significant in the slightest and will just reabsorb back into the blood since the blood stream carries oxygen.
